Thermal view of Refrigerator and its solution

My Technic is based on a simple question, if an a/c is kept inside a room and operated, would the room get hotter or cooler? Well the correct answer is the room will get hotter, the heating effect of a/c operation will be nullified by the cooling output of a/c but at the same time the power consumption will raise average temperature.
From mechanical point of view there is no difference between refrigerator and an a/c! They are same machine used for same purpose; fridge is used to cool a cabinet while a/c is used to cool a room which is nothing but a bigger cabinet.

We all have simple understanding that the condenser of a/c be kept out of room, just outside of window in case of window a/c or at other appropriate place outside of room in split a/c case. But we don’t apply the same logic in case of fridge! We keep the heat dispersion part or condenser of fridge within the room as it is attached to the fridge’s body. It may not cause any problem within the fridge’s cabinet but it does disperse the heat of fridge’s cabinet inside the room, which definitely increases the room temperature. In case if the room is a/ conditioned, a/c need to do extra work than it had to do in case if there was no fridge in the room.

To acknowledge the fact I discussed in the above paragraph, we need a thermal camera. Just observe the room a/conditioned or non a/c room but there must be a refrigerator inside the room, observe the room under thermal camera, you would see that heat is being continuously released inside the room, which does nothing but raises the temperature of the room. In case of a/c room it may not be felt physically since a/c is doing extra work to cool the extra heat, while in case of non a/c the temperature is definitely bound to increase.

A simple solution in my opinion that would remove the above sited problems: separate the condenser from main body of refrigerator. Just like in case of split a/c, fridges should have a split up part the main cabinet and the condenser. An observation under thermal camera reveals the change.

Where should, the cabinet be installed? Well, on the window sill or outside window aside of window, in gallery or grills. Another option could be it to be made to hang from the top sill of window, thus free the lower window sill.

Primarily, the advantage from the technic would result in temperature reduction in non a/c room, if it a/c lower work pressure on a/c, thus cost cutting could be achieved. Secondary advantage reclamation of space in fridge cabinet, as the condenser unit is outside the same space could be used for storage or a larger vegetable tray.

If conventional condenser for split a/c are redesigned they could be used for both fridge as well as a/c, this could result in altogether new product for marketing and thus further sales increment.

A cooler and convenient home!
